Side project of the Slipknot drummer
The band of Joey Jordison, drummer of Slipknot, released a new music video today for the song "Blood Host ".
Scar The Martyr was announced by Jordison in June, and features vocalist Henry Derek, keyboardist Chris Vrenna, and guitarists Jed Simon and Kris Norris.
Jordison said the project was formed because he was composing too many songs: “With Slipknot on hiatus, I was composing so much that I had too many songs. I wanted to see what could come out of it, so I spent a lot of time in the studio.”
The band's first album is scheduled for release on October 1st.
