Saxon announced that they will release their second album of covers, More Inspirations , on March 24th.
The album is a sequel to Inspirations and will feature covers of songs by KISS , Alice Cooper , ZZ Top , Nazareth , Rainbow and more.
To give fans a preview, Saxon released one of the tracks from the new album – a fairly faithful version of “The Faith Healer”, originally released by the Sensational Alex Harvey Band in 1975, which has already been covered by names like The Cult , Helloween , Udo Dirkschneider and others.
More Inspirations was produced by vocalist Biff Byford and his son, Seb Byford , along with sound engineer Jacky Lehmann . The album will be available on vinyl and CD, with kits available at the official Saxon store .
Saxon is scheduled to perform in Brazil in 2023 at the Monsters of Rock , taking place on April 23rd in São Paulo, and also at the recently announced Ribeirão Rock Series in Ribeirão Preto. Learn more.
