Saxon the 19th, Inspirations, an album of covers of artists who have inspired and continue to inspire the band.

Inspirations features eleven tracks, including reinterpretations of Jimi Hendrix, Motorhead, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, The Beatles , and more. Speaking about the new release, Biff Byford said: “We wanted to make an album based on our influences, the songs and bands that inspired us to compose what we did and still do.”

“And it was also interesting to see what my voice could do, since I’d never sung many of these songs before,” he adds. “We didn’t want to change any of the songs too much, just play them as Saxon. And we also think it’s very important to have – and share with the fans – some fun in these dark times.”
