On the morning of Friday the 9th, vocalist Biff Byford informally announced the release date of Saxon .
Byford appeared in a video riding a bicycle and revealed that the album will arrive on February 4, 2022. “I’m about to approve the final mix from [producer] Andy Sneap , so [the album] should be ready soon,” he commented. “You’ll be able to pre-order it on October 29th and the album will be released on February 4th.”
There aren't many details yet about the new Saxon album, but in an interview with SiriusXM in April, Biff Byford revealed that the band was considering calling the project Carpe Diem or The Pilgrimage (via Blabbermouth ).
In September, Brazilian Saxon fans will also be treated to the arrival of the biography Denim and Leather , which is already available for pre-order.
