This Thursday, the 14th, Saxon released the lyric video for "Super Nova," one of the songs from their most recent album, Carpe Diem .
The album began to be written before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and after a difficult period for Biff Byford , who suffered a heart attack in September 2019.
“I wrote a lot while I was in bed at the hospital, and we [Saxon] spent a lot of time writing and organizing the ideas we had. I think it’s a very intense album, and perhaps a lot of that intensity comes from the frustration of not being able to do anything during the COVID period,” he said in a statement .
