Nigel Glockler undergoes second surgery

Saxon drummer Nigel Glockler was hospitalized earlier this week due to a brain aneurysm. His wife, Gina Glockler, posted a message on the band's official Facebook page stating that the musician will undergo a second surgery today, the 11th, following an unsuccessful surgery on Wednesday. Nigel's wife also thanks fans for the messages of support the drummer has received.

The band was forced to postpone dates on their 35th anniversary UK tour due to Nigel's health problems.

Saxon is expected to enter the studio in early 2015 to record a new album, which will follow the band's 2013 release, "Sacrifice".
