Biff Byford , frontman of Saxon , revealed he is recovering from heart surgery . The band postponed some dates of their 40th anniversary tour for the album Castles & Eagles , leaving fans worried.
In a video on social media, Biff said he was feeling better and revealed that the group is already working on their new album, their 23rd. "I want to thank everyone who sent messages of support. I'm feeling good."
“I’m sore from the operation, but I’m feeling better every day that passes (…) Nigel Glockler has already started recording the drums and next week Paul Quinn and Doug Scarratt will start recording the guitars. I should record my vocals in January or February.”
