Saxon announces the release of a new album.

Along with the announcement, the band also released the first single from their new album.

Saxon has announced the release of their newest studio album, Hell, Fire And Damnation . The new work will be released on January 19, 2024, via Silver Lining Music .

The new release marks Saxon's twenty-fourth album, and a single is already available. Regarding the record, vocalist Biff Byford commented:

“I’ve had that saying stuck in my head ever since I was little, because my dad used to say it when he was upset,” Biff smiles. “He used to say, ‘Hell, fire and damnation, what are you doing now?!’ when I was ‘ruining his cabbage patch’ or carving things on the kitchen table. It was a very ‘Yorkshire’ saying back then.”

“There’s so much music out there about hell, the devil, and the occult that I thought it was about time someone wrote one about the battle between good and evil!” Biff explains. “You also can’t sing about the devil without singing about the good guy, and the song basically says ‘make your choice.’ We all have to make the choice, are we good or evil? The song is about that struggle.”

Saxon features Byford on vocals, Nigel Glockler on drums , Nibbs Carter on bass, and Doug Scarratt and Brian Tatler on guitars.
