The band Saul has just announced the release of their debut studio album, titled Rise as Equals . To celebrate the news, they released the single "King of Misery," which features a collaboration with David Draiman, vocalist of Disturbed . What a debut, huh?

Saul was formed in Iowa and gained fame with the 2019 single "Brother," which surpassed one million views on YouTube. Shortly after, the band signed a contract with Spinefarm Records , which will be responsible for releasing the album on October 23rd.

“'King of Misery' is a track we believe everyone will relate to at some point in their lives,” explains vocalist Blake Bedsaul , “It’s about being aware that your life is spiraling out of control and warning those around you that if they stay, you’ll only drag them down with you. We are the rulers of our own kingdom, but there are certainly some life lessons we only learn when we’re down. At that moment, we all become the king of misery [free translation of the song title].”

Draiman co-wrote “King of Misery” and, commenting on the work, said: “It was a pleasure working with these guys, they are talented, dedicated, hardworking, and already armed with an arsenal of hooks. I felt honored to be able to contribute.”
