Increasingly prominent in Recife's indie scene, Sargaço Nightclub releases the music video for "A Dança do Caos," the band's new single.
“A Dança do Caos” is the first sample from Sargaço Nightclub's second album, scheduled for release in the second half of 2022. The song has a foundation built on post-punk elements: relentless drums, pulsating bass, urgent vocals, and indispensable synthesizers. Production was handled by the band in partnership with Zeca Viana , who also took care of recording, mixing, and mastering.
The music video features an animation inspired by Animal Farm , by the English writer George Orwell . The video was produced and directed by visual artist Vito Quintans , from the Narsvera studio in Campina Grande (PB).
“The idea of making an animated music video came from the content of the lyrics themselves, and it was a pleasant surprise to find Vito Quintans, a very talented artist full of sharp insights. All the references that appear in the video were his idea,” comments vocalist Marrê .
Sargaço Nightclub consists of Marrê (vocals and guitar), AD Luna (drums), Alexandre Xaréu (bass), and Ingno Silva (keyboards).
