This will be Santa Cruz's first tour of Brazil
A sensation in the Finnish hard rock/glam metal scene, Santa Cruz quickly transcended Scandinavian borders and gained worldwide fame with their debut album, Screaming for Adrenaline (2013). Currently, with a new lineup, experience headlining European festivals, two recently released singles, and a heavy sound that revives traditional elements of the genre, the band finally debuts in Brazil with a mini-tour of three shows, including São Paulo on August 10th. The show, at Manifesto Bar, will feature an opening act by local band Inluzt. The production is by Onstage Agência.
Santa Cruz is so popular in the hard rock scene that they already have achievements like recording songs for car commercials (Mercedes-Benz) and sports channels (ESPN) on their resume. In their homeland, they are mentioned in the press as precursors of a new glam generation in Finland. In fact, the quartet takes the genre to a level of extreme good taste and professionalism.
The band is on the radar of fans of Reckless Love, Crashdiet, and Hardcore Superstar , but is also, today, idolized by fans of Guns N' Roses, Skid Row, and Hanoi Rocks .
Vocalist/guitarist Archie Cruz , a returning member of Santa Cruz, arrives in São Paulo with new members Pavel Cruz (lead guitar), Toxy Cruz (drums), and Ero Cruz (bass) , the same group that recorded the catchy single "Tell Me Why," which serves as a preview of the new album, Katharsis . The song is a synthesis of the band's victorious trajectory: with attitude, strong and melodic riffs, catchy hooks, and a highly addictive chorus, perfect for singing along, the so-called gang vocals.
