The Saint Louis TV channel KSDK reported a story that took place in a local mall about a one-year-and-two-month-old baby with hearing difficulties who calmed down upon hearing Santa Claus sing Metallica.
The little boy, named Lars in honor of Lars Ulrich, was lucky enough to meet a Santa Claus who was a Metallica fan, who sang the lyrics from Enter Sandman: “Hush little baby, don't say a word/ And never mind that noise you heard/ It's just the beasts under your bed,” simply replacing the word 'monsters' with 'elves'.
