Sammy Hagar was supposed to come to Brazil with The Circle earlier this year, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the shows had to be canceled. His tour was the first of a sea of cancellations and postponements that we've seen happen in recent months.

Now, the musician will finally return to the stage since the beginning of the pandemic, and for a good cause. Hagar will headline Rockin ' Fore the Kids , a benefit event taking place in Cleveland at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on September 18th.

The event will raise funds for the fight against cancer at Akron Children's Hospital in Ohio, for MusicCares , and for food banks in the city. According to a statement released to the press, the event "will be produced in accordance with all COVID-19 safety guidelines."

Hagar is part of the lineup alongside Ohio Weather Band, Brother Trouble, and Ira Dean, as well as several sports figures who will make special appearances during the event. Rockin' Fore the Kids will also feature a silent auction to help raise funds.
