Sammy Hagar , former lead singer of Van Halen , will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Next Tuesday, the 30th, at 11:30 AM (Pacific Time), the ceremony will take place, which will feature the vocalist's lookalike, Guy Fieri , as the presenter, in addition to John Mayer and Hagar's friend, Tom Consolo .
Ana Martinez , producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, stated : “The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to honor rock legend Sammy Hagar for his contributions to the world of rock and roll. From his humble beginnings in Fontana, California, to walking the Hollywood Walk of Fame as a boy, he has truly come a long way.”
Eddie Van Halen 's death , there was much discussion about a possible tribute to the vocalist , especially by Hagar, who revealed ( via Blabbermouth ) : "As far as the tribute is concerned, I'm very disappointed with how they handled everything, including when I left the band, what they did and everything else."
