In a recent interview with Por Dentro com Paulo Baron e Regis Tadeu , Sammy Hagar spoke about some of the life stories he described in his 2011 autobiography, Red: My Uncensored Life In Rock . One of them was about his experience in contact with extraterrestrial beings.
Hagar, who is a very spiritual and intuitive person, first spoke about a conversation he had with a psychic when he was young, where the woman suggested he move to San Francisco. It was this move that allowed Sammy to meet Ronnie Montrose and join his band, launching a successful career.
Regarding contact with alien beings, Sammy Hagar said: “I don’t think it was because I’m special or some kind of chosen one. Jesus was the chosen one, I wasn’t anything like that. But, by accident, the aliens used me as an experiment.”
Sammy emphasized that wireless electronic devices did not yet exist at the time of the incident, but stated that he was contacted through a wireless connection. “I know exactly where they were. 13 miles away, on a mountain in Mile Creek, near my house. They connected to my brain. What I think is that they chose me randomly, along with other people probably, and they wanted to download what we knew as humans, as a species.”
“And while they were doing that, for some reason, I woke up and realized,” Hagar continues. “And because of that, I was aware [that it happened]. For most people, I think it might have happened and they don’t even know. It might have happened to you and you just slept through the process and don’t know it. But they know everything you know [laughs]. But in this case, because I realized it, my mind expanded for a fraction of a second and I saw the future of technology. Not the way to do it, but I saw possibilities.”
“That inspired me and enlightened me and opened a path where my intuition led me to places like San Francisco, like being a psychic, like picking up a book randomly in a bookstore and it being about numerology,” she adds. “I’m drawn to things because of this open mind. [The aliens] didn’t open my mind, but being aware of them did. And when your mind is open, things come in.”
