Sammy Hagar is now a tourism ambassador for Los Cabos, Mexico. The information was released by the musician himself on his social media.
Los Cabos is located at the tip of the Baja California peninsula and encompasses the cities of San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. The area is known as Mexico's tourist corridor and offers hotels and golf courses along the coast.
“I bring news that I am being honored as a tourism ambassador for Los Cabos, something I have been hoping for since 1981,” Hagar said in a promotional video.
The ceremony in which the musician will be officially named is scheduled to take place on January 5th at noon in the main square of San Jose Del Cabo.
