During an interview with Forbes , Sammy Hagar revealed that he has a new album with his band The Circle on the way and that it should be released sometime in 2022.

According to Hagar, the album is called Crazy Times , was produced by Grammy-winning producer Dave Cobb , and is "the best album I've ever made in my life." "We recorded at RCA Studio with all that vintage equipment, it sounds phenomenal. It's great. These are my best compositions, it has the best production of all, and we've already made four videos," he says.

According to Sammy Hagar, this is due to Dave Cobb's work and his vision for the new album. The producer reportedly refused to do "anything that even remotely resembles country" and wanted something closer to Standing Hampton (1982). "It's a mix of everything I've ever been involved in musically, and the reason is David Cobb because he drew that out of me," he says.
