Sacred Reich has announced Brazilian Eduardo Baldo as their new drummer. The musician replaces Dave McClain , a member from 1991 to 1996 who had returned in 2018, leaving the group on October 20th.

Eduardo Baldo was a guest drummer only for the European tour, and now he has become an official member. The band made the announcement through a post on social media.

“We would like to officially welcome our new drummer, Eduardo Baldo, to the band. Baldo played the recent shows in Europe with us and rocked! He’s a great guy and fits in well with us. We are thrilled to move forward with Baldo behind the kit, bringing his own style, enthusiasm, and power. Welcome to Sacred Reich! As an added bonus, today is Baldo’s birthday! Let’s all wish him a happy birthday!”

Currently, the band is working on their sixth studio album, Into the Abyss , scheduled for release next year by Metal Blade Records .
