The film 'The War To End All War' will be shown at a military museum in Porto Alegre this year.

Sabaton announced the release of the band's film about World War I at a museum in Brazil. The premiere of The War To End All Wars: The Movie is scheduled for November and will be shown in the country only in Porto Alegre, at the Military Museum of the Southern Military Command.

The film shares the same name as Sabaton's tenth studio album , released by Nuclear Blast in March 2022. Like its predecessor, The Great War (2019), the Swedish power metal band's latest album addresses events from the First World War.

With audio in English and subtitles in Portuguese, the film is a 67-minute musical animation that promises to show the hardships of "incredible men and women" who fought in the historical conflict, certainly addressing stories told in the band's studio album.

To date, the release of the film The War To End All Wars is confirmed in more than 50 museums across 23 countries, in an initiative dubbed “History Rocks” by Sabaton. The project was developed to help museums worldwide gain visibility and support from a new audience by hosting events geared towards heavy metal fans.

“I spoke with several museums who expressed that they are facing difficulties due to a decrease in the number of visitors. This news didn't seem right to us and, as a band, we felt we needed to do something,” explained bassist Pär Sundström about the idea of releasing the band's film in this way.

The selection of museums around the world was made with the help of fans. Brazil is the only country in South America with a confirmed release date, and although only one date has been announced so far, the public can still suggest museums to screen the film through the band's official website . Preference is given to military history museums, but suggestions are open to all.

The exclusive screening of the Sabaton film at the Military Museum of the Southern Military Command has not yet had its date or time announced by the event venue.
