Disturbed 's cover of "The Sound of Silence" continues to receive praise. Now it was actor Russell Crowe David Draiman 's voice Simon and Garfunkel classic .
The actor from Gladiator and A Beautiful Mind , who dared to sing in the film version of Les Misérables , posted on his Twitter, in reference to the song:
"Perhaps the greatest rock vocalist in history."
Through the band's official Twitter account, Disturbed responded with thanks, as can be seen below.
The song has once again gained prominence due to a new video made in tribute to the fight against COVID-19, showing black and white images of empty streets in various cities.
