The lyric video is part of the promotion for the commemorative box set.

Rush released a lyric video for "A Farewell To Kings" in celebration of the 40th anniversary of their fifth studio album, which shares the same name as the track.

Released in 1977, the album features other classics such as "Closer To The Heart," "Madrigal," and "Cinderella Man." A Farewell To Kings – 40th Anniversary comes in two versions: a deluxe and a super deluxe edition, and is available here.

Recalling the recording of the album at Rockfield Studio in Wales, vocalist and bassist Geedy Lee said: “The guitar at the beginning of 'A Farewell To Kings' was recorded outside. It was very different for us in the way it was structured. It's a difficult track to play ,” he confesses.

In January of this year, guitarist Alex Lifeson said that the band has no plans to tour again: "It's basically over .
