Neil Peart , drummer for Rush , was honored last Saturday, the 9th, during a game held in Ohio against the Maryland team.

The Ohio State Marching Band , the marching band of the local university, played classics from the band such as "Red Barchetta," "Fly By Night," and "Tom Sawyer," while forming the initials "2112" and "YYZ," names of Rush songs.

Rush's official Twitter account shared the video of the performance with the following tweet: "We are speechless." Watch the performance below.

Neil Peart passed away in January 2020 in Santa Monica, California, after a three-year battle with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. He was 67 years old.
