Rush recently announced their reunion tour, Fifty Something . The tour will kick off on June 7th at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and will travel through the United States, Mexico, and Canada, concluding in Vancouver in December 2026. In addition to founding members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson , the band has invited Anika Nilles as their new drummer.

And the legendary progressive rock band may return to Brazil, according to Alberto Guerra , former president of Grêmio, who spoke last Monday, the 9th, during the inauguration of Odorico Roman , the team's new president.

As reported by the Grêmio Info , Alberto Guerra stated in a press conference that the Rush concert was offered to the Grêmio Arena in Porto Alegre. The likely date is set for January 21, 2027. With an estimated revenue of R$ 1.5 million, the event will depend on the approval of the club's new board.

However, there are still no official confirmations about the band possibly visiting the country. But the rumors rekindle the enthusiasm of Brazilian fans and put Porto Alegre back on the international map for major concerts.

Rush has played in Brazil twice. In 2002 they performed in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Porto Alegre. They returned only in 2010, for shows in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
