2020 has been one of the most difficult years in a long time, and one of the reasons for this is the numerous deaths of big names in music, including Neil Peart of Rush . However, and thankfully, Geddy Lee is well and alive, but after seeing his name trending on Twitter, many thought the artist might have passed away.
On Rush's official Twitter profile, Lee wrote, "Even I swallowed hard when I saw I was trending on Twitter, but I asked my dogs and apparently I'm a bit of a bore, but on the other hand I'm fine..."
The reason the artist's name was trending on social media was due to his appearance, or rather, his cardboard cutout of himself, at a Toronto Blue Jays game. The cardboard cutout is positioned in the stands alongside other personalities like Andrew Cuomo , the governor of New York, in light of the ban on live audiences during the pandemic.
