Rush presented their new lineup live during the Juno Awards 2026in Canada last Sunday, the 29th. The return to the stage happened with a performance of "Finding My Way," the opening track from the group's debut album, released in 1974.
The performance marked the first time in over a decade that Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson have taken the stage as Rush since the band's last show in 2015. During the performance, images from different phases of Rush's career were displayed on the screens, including footage of drummer Neil Peart, who died in 2020.
The performance is a preview of Rush's return to the stage with the Fifty Something. This time, Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are joined by drummer Anika Niles on the tour that celebrates the band's 50th anniversary and will be dedicated to the memory of Neil Peart. There are 80 shows around the world confirmed so far.
Rush in Brazil
Rush will also be touring Brazil with tour Fifty Somethingreunion in January and February 2027.
The band will be performing in Curitiba (Arena da Baixada, January 22nd), São Paulo (Allianz Parque, January 24th and 26th), Rio de Janeiro (Estádio Nilton Santos, January 30th), Belo Horizonte (Estádio Mineirão, February 1st), and Brasília (Arena BRB Mané Garrincha, February 4th). Tickets will go on sale this Friday, February 27th, starting at 11 AM on the Eventim website.
