The Cure is expected to be one of the headliners for Rock in Rio 2026 , according to the Chile Festivales . However, the festival has not made any official announcement yet.
The page posted on its social media: “The British band will be one of the headliners at Rock in Rio 2026, how about that, would you like another visit to Santiago?”. It seems that the band will be one of the festival's exclusive headliners.
The Cure's last visit to Brazil was in São Paulo, at Primavera Sound, in 2023 .
Rock in Rio takes place on September 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12 and 13 at the Olympic Park in Rio de Janeiro. General ticket sales begin on December 9th at 7 PM through the Ticketmaster website. Prices are: R$ 795 (full price), R$ 397.50 (half price).
