Guns N' Roses is expected to release new, unreleased music soon, according to rumors circulating in the international press.
In August, the band released “Absurd” , their first new track in 13 years, a song previously known as “Silkworms” and recycled from recordings from the time of the album Chinese Democracy (2008).
According to Blabbermouth , all indications are that Guns N' Roses' next release will follow the same logic. Titled "Hard School" (or "Hard Skool" in the stylization chosen by the group), the track is said to be a version of "Jackie Chan," also written during the sessions for the band's last studio album.
“Hard Skool” is expected to follow the same path as “Absurd” in its journey to official release, premiering on stage before hitting radio and streaming platforms. At the end of August, the group rehearsed the song during soundchecks, but has not yet performed it in their setlist.
Rumors gained more traction after a photo of Axl Rose with a fan backstage at his show in Atlantic City last Sunday, the 12th, was published. "She said she was invited backstage and had a beer with him. She also asked him about 'Hard Skool'. [Axl] played the song for her and said they're going to release it soon," the tweet stated. The post was subsequently deleted.
