Brazilian singer Mayara Puertas may be the new vocalist for Arch Enemy . Rumors about the Torture Squad Bangers Open Air 2026 festival
Puertas posted a photo on Instagram that said, “What’s coming next? All I can say is that there’s a lot of work ahead… and I couldn’t be happier! I know some of you probably already know what’s coming… But I’m not going to tell you anything yet… Stay tuned.” The text was accompanied by the song “You Will Know My Name” by Arch Enemy. The post fueled fan speculation about a possible connection between the Brazilian singer and the group.
Shortly after, Angela Gossow , former vocalist and current manager of Arch Enemy, liked the post and started following Mayara Puertas.
The rumors surfaced after vocalist Alissa White-Gluz in 2025 , leaving the frontwoman position vacant and opening the door for speculation and theories among extreme metal fans.
To date, there has been no official confirmation from the Swedish band or Mayara Puertas regarding her alleged joining Arch Enemy.
