The launch could happen later this year
Guitarist Buddy Miller told Radio.com that Robert Plant has a virtually finished album.
The musician, who played with Plant in the band Band of Joy, said that they recently worked together, writing and recording new songs. According to Miller, the jam session resulted in a raw and tribal rock sound.
Miller said the recordings still need backing vocals and some adjustments, but that they are practically ready.
Regarding the release, Miller says: “I think he wants to finish it because he really liked the songs. But he's Robert Plant, he can do whatever he wants!”.
