A band from Brasília will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album

The Brasília-based band Rumbora has announced a show to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of their debut album, 71.

Alf Sá (vocals, guitar and bass) and Beto Loureiro (bass and vocals) will be touring from April 2019 with Marcelo Vourakis ( Maskavo Roots, Supergalo ) on second guitar and backing vocals, and Iuri Rio Branco on drums. The first show is scheduled for April 18th at SESC 24 de Maio, in São Paulo.

Inactive since the end of 2005 when it ceased operations, Rumbora will play hits such as "Chapirous," "Skaô," and "O Ó do Borogodó," and is expected to release new music soon.

More than a band: Rumbora announces return with shows and new music in 2019. São Paulo, March 8, 2019. The influential Brasília-based band Rumbora is back, and they have plenty of new things to present to their fans. Celebrating 20 years since the release of their debut album, "71," founders Alf Sá (vocals, guitar, and bass) and Beto Loureiro (bass and vocals) will hit the road starting in April 2019 with the powerful addition of Marcelo Vourakis (Maskavo Roots, Supergalo) on second guitar and backing vocals, and Iuri Rio Branco (Alf's partner in his solo project since 2013 and producer of Flora Matos' acclaimed album "Eletrocardiograma") on drums. The premiere is already scheduled for April 18th at SESC 24 de Maio in São Paulo and will also feature a very special guest appearance by Leandro Barbosa (drummer on Rumbora's third album, "Trio Elétrico").
