The track is part of the successor album to Rituals , from 2016.

The Greek band Rotting Christ has released the third track from their upcoming album, The Heretics , scheduled for release on February 15th via Season Of Mist.

“The Raven” closes the album and, according to frontman Sakis Tolis , is inspired by the famous poem by Edgar Allan Poe . Tolis also revealed that the song is the most melodic the band has ever written.

To accompany the release of the new single, the group also released a lyric video with a dark visual style. Watch the video below.
