Rotten Boys
Garotos Podres is an iconic Brazilian punk rock band, formed in 1982 in the city of Mauá, São Paulo. Known for their irreverent lyrics and sharp social criticism, the band quickly rose to prominence in the country's underground scene.
Influenced by British punk and Brazilian rock, Garotos Podres released their first album, Mais Podres do que Nunca (More Rotten Than Ever ), in 1985, which became a landmark of the genre in Brazil. Among their hits are songs like “Papai Noel Velho Batuta” (Old Batuta Santa Claus), “Johnny,” and “Anarquia Oi!” (Oi! Anarchy).
Leviaethan
Leviaethan is one of the biggest names in Brazilian thrash metal. Originally from Porto Alegre, their career spans more than four decades. The band is known for its lyrics that address themes such as politics, society, religion, war, and prophecy. Among the band's most notable works is the album "Smile," released in 1990, which is considered a classic of Brazilian thrash metal. They recently released the single "Humanimal," which is part of the album D-Evil in Me , to be launched at the event.
Punkzilla
Punkzilla is a punk rock band formed in 2014 in Porto Alegre. According to the band, they try to "resurrect a style of punk rock that emerged in the 80s, but without being tied to labels and always with an open mind to new sounds." They will be releasing the music video "Crônicas de um Motoboy" during the festival.
