Rossi, a 6-year-old boy with cancer, meets Iron Maiden

Boy posted video of Aces High

Little Rossi Starbrook, a 6-year-old Iron Maiden fan diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, had his dream come true during an Iron Maiden at Download, when he met the band.

Rossi has been a fan of the band since he was 4 years old and came to the attention of Iron Maiden after posting a video on YouTube in which he sings the classic "Aces High ," which was seen by the team that works with the band.

His mother, Leanne, commented on the encounter: “It was the first time Rossi had seen Iron Maiden live, so it was a truly unforgettable experience for him. He’s a very talkative boy, but he was speechless when he met Bruce. But Bruce was very nice and talked to him. Seeing my boy so happy was incredible. I’ll never be able to repay everything they’ve done for us. Rossi told me, ‘Today was the best day of my life. Download is a really cool place.’”

Rossi is undergoing cancer treatment that will end in May of next year, when a new diagnosis of his health status will be made. The boy's family has started a foundation to fulfill the dreams of children with cancer, "Team Rossi"
