The comic book inspired by Ronnie James Dio , Holy Diver , which will be released in June 2021 via Z2 Comics , exclusively shared the first images of the work Loudwire
The book comes in two options, a standard edition and a deluxe edition. The deluxe version includes a copy of the Holy Diver , three artworks inspired by the album, and a limited edition hardcover edition of the book. The standard edition has a paperback cover.
Wendy Dio , widow of Ronnie James Dio , explained more about the release, “ Steve Niles telling the story behind the cover of Holy Diver , a story about how we can't judge a book by its cover, is a subject that Ronnie always wrote about in his songs; that you need to see the inside of the person and not judge them by their appearance or the clothes they wear.”
