The comic book inspired by Ronnie James Dio, Holy Diver, which will be released in June 2021 via Z2 Comics, exclusively shared Loudwire the first images of the work
The book comes in two options, a standard edition and a deluxe edition. The deluxe version includes a copy of the Holy Diver, three artworks inspired by the album, and a limited edition hardcover edition of the book. The standard edition has a paperback cover.
Wendy Dio, widow of Ronnie James Dio, explained more about the release, “Steve Nilestelling the story behind the cover of Holy Diver, a story about how we can't judge a book by its cover, is a subject that Ronnie always wrote about in his songs; that you need to see the inside of the person and not judge them by their appearance or the clothes they wear.”
