The Rolling Stones have announced a new edition of Tattoo You to celebrate the album's 40th anniversary. The new release includes a previously unreleased song titled "Living in the Heart of Love".
The track features the band's most distinctive characteristics: Keith Richards Mick Jagger 's powerful vocals . "Living in the Heart of Love" is one of nine unreleased tracks that the group will release with the deluxe box set of the reissue. All of them will be on the album Lost & Found . The expanded version will also include 26 live recordings from the album Still Life: Wembley Stadium 1982.
Tattoo You was released in August 1981 and featured recordings the band made in the 1970s. The album, which includes classics such as "Start Me Up," "Neighbours," and "Waiting on a Friend," was a sales success at the time.
The 40th anniversary edition of Tattoo You will be released on October 22nd.
