The presentation took place the week that marked the 50th anniversary of Brian Jones' death.

Last week marked the 50th anniversary of the death of one of the Rolling Stones' founders, Brian Jones , and the band didn't let the date pass unnoticed.

During a show in Maryland, the group played "Mercy Mercy," a cover of Don Covay & The Goodtimers , for the first time in 50 years. The last time the band played the track was on July 6, 1969, a performance in Hyde Park shortly after Jones' death.
