"I think he was murdered and that the police didn't investigate properly."

On July 3, 1969, the body of Brian Jones – a founding member of the Rolling Stones – was found at the bottom of his swimming pool, and authorities concluded that his death was an accident.

Now, 50 years after his death, Barbara Marion , Jones' youngest daughter, has revealed that she finds what happened to her father strange. In an interview with Sky News , she said she believes he was murdered and that "the police didn't investigate as they should have." "I would love for them to reopen the case to get some answers," she said.

This is not the first time theories have surfaced about Brian Jones' death. For years, some fans have believed that the musician was killed by a construction worker, Frank Thorogood , who was the last person to see Jones alive.

Jones formed the Stones in 1962, but was asked to leave the band in 1969 due to his serious drug problems. The musician died less than a month after leaving the group.
