The rivalry between Roger Waters Pink Floyd bandmates seems to have no end.

In 2020, Waters publicly stated that his former bandmates had blocked his access to the band's website . Now, in an appearance on the podcast WTF With Marc Maron , which took place in 2016 but whose recording was only recently published online, the musician recalled the difficult times with the band leading up to his departure in 1985.

“I was in a very toxic environment, where I was around some people… Well, David [Gilmour ] and Rick [Wright] , mainly, were always trying to drag me down. They were always trying to bring me down,” the musician shares, but it doesn’t stop there. Waters also stated that his colleagues thought he had a bad ear and didn’t understand music very well, and added, “They were very arrogant and presumptuous because they felt insignificant, I think.”
