Roger Waters recently kicked off his highly anticipated tour, This is Not a Drill , and in just the second show, the musician already had a very clear message for those who like to complain about his political views.

Pink Floyd 's vocalist and founder , Waters, dedicated his music career to criticizing the system and corrupt and authoritarian governments . His political opinions have irritated conservative fans before, but this time he had a ready answer.

Seconds before the start of his show in Pennsylvania, a message was displayed on the screen and narrated aloud to prepare the audience. First, the message asked spectators to put away their cell phones. Immediately afterward, the text displayed the following words: “If you are one of those people [who say] 'I love Pink Floyd, but I can't stand Roger's politicization,' you would do well to head to the bar right now.”

Although the first message was met with boos, the second provoked laughter and was received by the audience with applause and cheers. Check out a short video of the moment:
