English singer-songwriter Roger Waters, 78, has announced that he has married for the fifth time.
On his social media, the former Pink Floyd member shared images with his wife, Kamilah Chavis , during the ceremony, which took place at one of his properties in Bridgehampton, New York. In the caption, the musician shared his happiness about the marriage.
Pink Floyd, who have been feuding with Roger Waters over control of social media accounts , shared a message congratulating their former bandmate on his wedding. Managed by vocalist and guitarist David Gilmour and drummer Nick Mason , the page shared photos of the ceremony that united Waters and Chavis. Along with them, it commented: “Wishing Roger Waters and Kamilah Chavis years of happiness and fulfillment in their marriage. Congratulations.”
Last year, Waters accused Gilmour of banning him from the band's platforms, such as the website and social media, and complained that he couldn't publish content from his solo career if the guitarist did the same. "A million and a half people watched our new version of 'Mother', which is lovely, it warms my heart. But this raises the question: why isn't this video available on the website that claims to be the official Pink Floyd page? The answer is that nothing of mine is on the site – David Gilmour banned me from the site," Waters stated at the time.
Before Karinah, Roger Waters was married to Judy Trim (between 1969 and 1975), Lady Carolyne Christie (from 1974 to 1992), Priscilla Phillips (with whom he remained from 1993 to 2001), and Laurie Durning , from whom he separated in 2015. The two had been together since 2004 and married in 2012.
