In a new interview with MusicRadar , Queen drummer Roger Taylor defended singer Adam Lambert , who has been the band's vocalist on stage for years, and spoke about the possibility of a new Queen album.
“Shall we make a new Queen album? I see no reason not to. I honestly think Adam’s voice deserves it. He deserves the chance to record a Queen song,” the drummer stated.
Brian [ May and me a new lease on life, but we’ll only continue with this if we can do it right,” he continued. “Live shows need energy and passion. I don’t want to get to the point where I need to be carried around in a wheelchair to do the bonus.”
Earlier this month, Roger revealed that his bandmate and co-founder of Queen, Brian May, “suddenly lost interest” in a new “fucking great” song that the two were writing with Adam Lambert, and the drummer admitted he didn't know why.
