Roger Daltrey , lead singer of The Who , gave a recent interview to Uncut and revealed that he doesn't know if the iconic band will release a new studio album.

“Will there be another Who album? I don’t know! There’s no record market anymore!” Daltrey explained. “Everyone talks about streaming, but have you seen what artists get out of it? It’s a joke!”

Roger Daltrey also commented on Who The Who 's 12th album released by Universal Music via Polydor in December 2019. He felt the production cost was too high, another factor that discouraged the singer: “It was great to release an album, something the fans liked, and I was very proud of it. But a lot of money was spent making it,” he explained. “It got completely out of control and ended up costing me money. I can't keep doing that,” he concluded.
