Roger Daltrey announces autobiography release for this year.

The book will tell about his life with The Who and his solo projects.

Who frontman Roger Daltrey has confirmed the release of an autobiography this year. Titled Thanks A Lot, Mr. Kibblewhite: My Story Rolling Stone magazine and revealed he was preparing something special.

“Most of the rock biographies I’ve read have bored me in the first half. I hope that doesn’t happen with mine,” he said at the time. The book will be released on October 23rd by Henry Holt and Co in the UK and a few days later in the United States. There is still no release date for Brazil.

Daltrey shared the book cover on social media with the following message: “It took me three years to unpack the events of my life, to remember who did what and why – to separate the myths from the reality, to discover what really happened at the Holiday Inn on Keith Moon .”

Thanks A Lot, Mr. Kibblewhite: My Story is now available for pre-order. In June of this year, Daltrey released the solo album As Long As I Have You and is currently preparing to tour the United States as part of the album's promotion.
