Punk rock gains another important chapter in Brazil in November 2025. The first edition of the Rockside features American bands TSOL and Adolescents , two fundamental names in the Californian hardcore scene. The festival's debut takes place in three capital cities: Curitiba (November 28), São Paulo (November 29), and Porto Alegre (November 30).
Produced by Magnetar in partnership with ND Productions , Rockside was created with the aim of definitively placing Brazil on the map for major international tours focused on rock and its most intense subgenres. And to mark this beginning, the choice couldn't be more significant: two groups that have spanned decades, influencing generations and keeping the power of punk alive.
TSOL: Unwavering Energy
Formed in the early 1980s in Long Beach/Huntington Beach, TSOL (True Sounds of Liberty) built its identity by mixing punk, death rock, and hardcore. Led by vocalist Jack Grisham , the band maintains explosive energy on stage and continues to produce music. In 2024, they released the album A-Side Graffiti , their ninth studio album, which joins classics like Dance with Me .
Teenagers: the influence of a classic
The Adolescents , formed in Fullerton in the 1980s, made their mark on the scene with the emblematic Blue Album (1981) , considered one of the most influential American hardcore albums. Their sound was a direct reference for groups that would explode in the 1990s, such as The Offspring, Pennywise, Bad Religion, NOFX , and Green Day . Today, the band continues to reverberate this legacy on international stages.
