Fans rallied for the tribute
A campaign honoring Malcolm Young of AC/DC invites headbangers worldwide to get the song "For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)" to the top of the charts during Christmas week.
Initially, the campaign aimed for the number one spot on the UK charts during Christmas week, but it spread throughout the world.
The idea is to encourage headbangers to download or stream the music during the week of December 15th to 21st.
The organizers' post contains the following message:

Thank you for joining us in trying to get AC/DC's 'For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)' to No. 1 in the UK as a tribute to Malcolm Young – and what an EPIC No. 1 single that would be… FIRE! 💣”
