Rock in Rio Lisboa 2020 has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The festival, which was scheduled to take place in June of this year, has been rescheduled for June 19-20 and 26-27, 2021.

Tickets purchased for the 9th edition of the festival will be valid for the new event dates, and those who chose specific show days will be able to change their minds once the new line-up is announced.

The president of Rock in Rio, Roberto Medina , spoke about the postponement: “The festival is in our DNA and is a sharing of emotions, this revitalizing energy that we want to continue offering. Also in 2022, we will return for the 10th edition, leaving no room for homesickness and resuming the festival 'in even years'.”
