Rock in Rio headliners Nickelback and Weezer will perform at a new festival in São Paulo.

The event takes place at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium between September 26th and October 4th

This Wednesday, the 22nd, a series of concerts in São Paulo featuring acts from Rock in Rio was announced. In partnership with the Itaipava de Som a Sol project, the Concert Series will take place between September 26th and October 4th.

The five confirmed acts are big names in world pop and rock, including Nickelback, Weezer, Dave Matthews Band, Seal , and Black Eyed Peas.

The shows will be held at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium and tickets, which range from R$150 to R$700, will be on sale from May 24th through Ingresso Rápido.

Day 26 – Weezer
Day 27 – Dave Matthews Band
Day 29 – Seal
Day 3 – Nickelback
Day 4 – Black Eyed Peas
