Rock in Rio announced this Thursday, the 17th, two new acts for the 2021 edition. The band Living Colour and guitarist Steve Vai will join forces in an unprecedented encounter on the first day of the festival's shows.
“If Living Colour impresses with their solo performance in a single show, just imagine what it will be like when we put Steve Vai's stunning guitar on stage with them. There will be no competition. It will be a breathtaking encounter. The audience can expect something great, because it will be,” says Zé Ricardo , artistic director of the Sunset Stage.
The meeting will take place on September 24th, the same day the festival will feature Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Dream Theater , and Sepultura . Rock in Rio takes place on September 24th, 25th, 26th, and 30th, and October 1st, 2nd, and 3rd at Cidade do Rock in Rio de Janeiro.
