During the month of December 2023, Rock For People – a festival celebrating rock and metal in the Czech Republic – announced its lineup in the form of an advent calendar.
The festival announced one act per day until the 25th and surprised the public with attractive headliners for fans of rock, metalcore, spoken word, and even pop punk. This year's edition features names like The Offspring, Bring Me The Horizon, Bad Omens, La Dispute, Neck Deep, Pendulum, Avril Lavigne, Yungblud, Body Count, Enter Shikari, and many more.

For the second time, the Czech festival has entered the TOP 10 of medium-sized European festivals. The festival director, Michal Thomes , was also nominated for The Award for Excellence and Passion . “I greatly value these nominations and am genuinely excited about them,” says Michal Thomes, adding: “I am also very happy that, despite the booking difficulties this year in the European market, we managed to put together an attractive program that includes popular artists as well as new talent, maintaining Rock for People's position in the European festival scene.”
The Rock for People festival is known for being a pioneer in the field of sustainability and ecology, being aware of its own impact and responsibility. In addition to its sustainable approach, it also focuses on education through panel discussions. The festival uses alternative energy sources (hydrogen, sun, and wind) to power its stages, recycles 17 types of waste, offers a rich and exclusively plant-based diet, and utilizes zero-emission transportation.
The festival organizers are also long-time supporters of Konsent, a non-profit organization that strives to demystify myths about sex and sexual violence. By purchasing a festival ticket, each visitor can donate an amount of money of their choice to support the organization's activities.
